Lithium-sulfur batteries have high theoretical energy density and are a promising next-generation secondary battery system. In order to strengthen the communication among related academic researchers and engineers in China, and to discuss the frontier scientific issues and key common technologies in lithium-sulfur batteries, including sulfur cathode, lithium cathode, electrolyte, and full battery technology and industrialization, the organizing committee intends to hold the 7th National Lithium-Sulfur Battery Symposium 2023 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China from April 28-30, 2023.
The symposium will be co-hosted by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Institute of Metals, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University and Beijing University of Technology. The conference will showcase the latest progress and research results of lithium-sulfur battery research, discuss the key bottlenecks facing the practicalization of lithium-sulfur batteries, and provide an exchange platform for the development of lithium-sulfur batteries.
The conference sincerely welcomes scientific and technical workers engaged in academic research and engineering technology development of lithium-sulfur batteries to attend the conference and make contributions to improve the academic research and engineering technology level in the field of lithium-sulfur batteries and accelerate the practicalization of lithium-sulfur batteries.

Key materials and components: high loading, high pressure solid and high catalytic activity of sulfur cathode; low dosage, high safety and multifunctional electrolyte; dendrite free, interface stable and high electrochemical reversible lithium cathode.
Battery system and application: intrinsically safe, high specific energy (weight/volume) and long life lithium-sulfur cores and group control technology, industrialization and application driven goals.
